Hi community
I cannot find a catalog item in UAT after following below:
1. Create catalog item in Dev. Build some parts of it.
2. Created updated set ( should have done this first)
3. Moved update set to UAT.
4. Realized what I had done above.
5. Created new update set and added catalog item to it.
6. Moved new updated set to UAT.
7. Cannot find update set in UAT.
Not sure what i did wrong.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Hi @AnthonyMull
Have you committed the update set in UAT environment?
If no then please commit the update set first in UAT.
If yes and still not able to see catalog item then
please create new update set then mark the catalog item active false save the catalog then again mark it true and save.
Sometimes if you use "Add to update set" UI action it wont capture the update properly in update set.
and then complete the update set and move it to UAT.
Thanks & Regards,
Sejal

Hi Anthony,
Open the Retrieved update set. Try to locate the customer update of type catalog item.
open this recod. and click on show related record ,the bottom related link.
If this does not work, you need to recapture item in the update set.

Hi Anthony,
Can you open the update set and see in customer updates if it has been captured?

Hello @AnthonyMull
Since you realize that in step 4 you didn't captured Catalog Item creation in updateset and latter recaptured in new updateset all this is fine as we are human and allowed to do some mistake and learn.
Now the second UpdateSet you created did you verified that Catalog Item is captured again in UpdateSet?
Since you are saying in UAT it is not showing up did you closed the UpdateSet in DEV?
Is UpdateSet having version number in name or exact same name as first UpdateSet had if yes try to rename in dev n repull the UpdateSet.
If my response has helped you hit helpful button and if your concern is solved do mark my response as correct.
Thanks & Regards

When you tried commiting the update set and you found any errors, did you skipped any errors?
If so, then you might have skipped the catalog item record.

Hello @AnthonyMull
Are there any errors while comminting?
Go to retrieved updatesets and cross verify if it is the correct updateset, and also verify the changes it captured.
Also, you can go to Maintain items under Filter Navigator and check if you can find the item from list
f my response has helped you hit helpful button and if your concern is solved do mark my response as correct.
Kind Regards,
Ravi
