Cannot Initiate a clone

When trying to request a clone it asks for the user name and password but errors out saying invalid user name and password. Could this be due to using SSO on the non prod instance?

I know I am putting in the appropriate password and user name and the account I am using has admin rights. Thank you for the help.

You can disable SSO or if you have the System Administrator account that comes out of the box, enable that and use that account. Or create a local account (no LDAP, no SSO) with admin rights that you can use for clones.

Yes, Sec 6.1 #4 has the note about the authentication account: http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=System_Clone#gsc.tab=0

Hello.  This hyperlink seems to be broken now.

1)  Michael (or anyone), were you saying that SSO needs to be disabled on the SOURCE instance, or the TARGET instance?

2)  What about MFA?  Will MFA on either the Source instance or the Target instance cause issues with authentication, for the initiation of a clone?

Thank you.

I saw that but I couldn't find how to submit the clone otherwise. Is there something I am missing or not looking hard enough that indicates steps needing to be taken when SSO is enabled?
