Capture widget in SP home page and validate content using ATF

I am trying to validate content (case) under a widget (My open Cases) in SP home page. Any idea how to accomplish this?

 In ATF you can use Component value validation (Custom UI) under custom UI category in test step .

While creating ATF user should have at least one case raised to correctly test this . You can directly impersonate the person after raising case for him first

You cannot test everything with ATF.

ATF has it's own limitations.

How are you testing this? please share complete steps

Are you trying to raise a case and then check in portal if it's seen in My Open Cases tab?
