Good morning,
We recently upgraded to the New York release from London and everything seemed smooth. However, I went to our Service Portal to view one of our catalog items that automatically adds users to a specific group but that catalog item is not showing up in the service portal at all. The catalog item is active and is under the correct Catalog and Category with no roles but its not showing up at all. I also checked the Hide on Service Portal but the box is checked to false. I'm drawing a blank so any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
cnharris

I found out what the answer to this problem was and it was quite simple. There was a hidden field that is usually checked OOB called Visible Everywhere. For whatever reason, this box wasn't checked which prevented those two particular catalog items from showing. So basically, I just had to mark the Visible Everywhere checkbox to true.

Where is the "Visible Everywhere" checkbox? I have this issue after we just upgraded to Tokyo with a request. The "Hide on Service Portal" is false, but I cannot find the visible everywhere checkbox to check this issue.

Hi Erik,
Sorry about the late reply, I've been away for a while. My organization isn't currently on the Tokyo release yet but a quick way to find the "visible everywhere' checkbox is to go to the list of your catalog items, click the gear to personalize your list columns, and scroll down until you find the 'Visible everywhere' field (It looks like it may actually be 'visible elsewhere' now). Once selected, you'll be able to double-click to toggle it between true or false.
Also, I think if you're on the actual catalog item itself, it should be under the 'Availability' tab. If not, you'll probably need to go to form designer to add the field that way in order to check the box to true.
I haven't tried any of the above suggestions but that's where I would start. Also, here's a link that might help out: Create a service catalog variable (servicenow.com)
Let me know if that helps or if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Corey

Hi,
Please check the 'no search' field on catalog item must be false. If it is True then make it as False.
Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.
Thanks,
Vikas Katke
