Hello All:
I have an issue with my "Inventory Deployment" catalog item.
This item has 15 different variables that reference various items (hardware/consumables) current listed within any of my stockrooms.
When the catalog item is ordered (only the check box for Item is shown), my Inventory Team then begins to pull those items and enter it into the ticket. Once the ticket is placed into a specific state (In Progress, On Hold, Resolved), it then deducts those items from stock and updates to the user as in use or comsumed.
My Issue is that only one reference variable is not remaining (Phone/Consumable) when the item is selected and the form saved. They continue this until all items are pulled.
The group then needs to re-enter this variable (as it is blank and will not progress until enter) and move the one of the other three stages where the value is retained.
I've searched community on this issue and have seen the various posts and HI KB article.
We do not have duplicate variable editors on this view.
There are no Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies reverting the field to a null value. Only Mandatory at various stages.
I'm not sure, as directed on the KB article, how to DOT Walk the reference variable using the Variable Editor.
Has anyone else had this issue and have a solution?
This is the only Catalog Item and/or variable currently in my instance that is having this issue.
