Category is not visible

Hello,

 

Category is not visible. Can someone help me what could be the issue. Category is active 

I'm having Admin role, category is active and it has catalog item in the category 

 

Navigation: 

Self service> service catalog> i do not see the category which I'm looking for, when I clicked on "+" icon to add the catagory still I can't see the category in the available or selected list

Not sure what's the issue. Could someone help me with this.

Can you confirm that on the sc_category record, the category belongs to a Catalog (Service Catalog), is Active, and there are active Catalog Items in the related list at the bottom of the page? 

 

Can you see the item from the service portal?

Have a look in the catalog configuration form and see if the category is available there, if not you might need to create it through there and add your catalog items to the new category.

1. So go to "Catalogs"

2. Click on the pencil icon in the right corner of the Service Catalog box

3. Check the "Categories" tab for the category you are looking for (if it is there then make sure it is active and does not have a parent. If there is a parent then it is a 'sub' category of the parent and that would be why you can't see it)

4. If it isn't there at all, then consider creating a new category through this page by clicking on the "New" button in the top right of the category tab

Is that category added to correct catalog?
