Hello everyone,
I completed my CSA certification just earlier this month, and my certification should be valid for at least one year.
However, I am seeing a warning message that my certification is going to expire by April. I have spent $300 for this, and how come it will expire in 3 months?
Also, do I need to retake the same exam again, or open book Delta exam? If delta must be taken, why would I need to take it within 3 months, and do I need to spend more money again, as I am not affiliated with any company that has learning credits? Kindly suggest.

If you have taken exam more than a year back than you have to spend 200 as mentioned by @Dr Atul G- LNG .
From screenshot you shared I see you have taken it recently so no need to pay maintenance fee this year. You can verify it by logging to ServiceNow university and checking like as I have shared in my previous reply.

Hi @anandsuresh
No. If you have not completed the mainline on the Zurich release, then you must submit the delta exam and pay the $200 maintenance fee. If you do not complete the delta by 16 April and do not pay the fee, your certification will expire. Please ensure the delta is completed.

Thank you for the quick response, Atul. But, how is this fair? I have just completed the exam, hardly 20 days before, by spending $300, and if I need to spend $200 again, it is daylight looting to be honest. They should provide at least one year for me take the delta exams.

Hi @anandsuresh
I understand the pain, mate — you’ve spent your hard-earned money, and that’s frustrating. But this is how the process works. That’s why we always recommend planning the mainline certification in the first month of the year. It’s also important to check when the new release version exams are coming, so you can plan accordingly and at least save the $200.
Since the exam you completed was not for the Zurich release, you’ll now need to complete the delta exam and pay the maintenance fee as well. I’ll log a Now Learning case and get advice from the team too.

Not correct @Dr Atul G- LNG..
If the cert is less than a year old, you don't pay the $200.
Yes, you just need to take the delta, but it's free.
