Change default container name

When I create a "Container End" variable,   the variable is auto named to something like "formatter9", etc.

Is there a way to create a meaningful variable name rather than end up with an auto named variable of type Container End?

Nope, you need to do this from the List Layout view as shown in my screen shot attached above. Screenshot which you have attached is of the form view.

This appears to be where "experience" with the platform comes in.   I was double clicking ON the variable name under the name column.   You need to click " in the Name column cell,   but a little ways off of the actual variable name to get the rename screen option.   Otherwise, works like a charm.

yes exactly. just double click on the "formatter9" where you are seeing it in the list and rename it 🙂

Did you save it after naming it?

Change to container start or a single line text.

rename the question and name as desired.

Change it back to container end. The field will vanish but it will have the values.

Save the variable.

Or as suggested by Shloke, you can update the name from list view as well.

Thank you for the guidance.   I was still not able to get this to work following your instructions.   Could be something specific with our platform settings.
