Change formatting of catalog item cards

Every item we create that shows up on our service portal has a designation of 'request'.  We have links to other general documents that are not requests.  We aren't seeing a way to edit the cards to remove or change the 'request' notation.  Where is this located?

It is ootb behaviour and i don't think we can change it.
