Change group approval

Hi Team,

I have requirement to send group approvals to Specific groups instead of assignment group

In change management currently assignment group members are getting the approval, now the requirement is not to get approval for all of the members in the assignment group 

Now we are creating the related approval groups and adding members to those groups,

could any one of you please tell me the approach such that only the approvals should trigger based on the new approval groups created for the related assignment groups.

Example: If change assignment group is "ServiceNow" members of the group are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 now requirement is to send approvals only to 1 & 2, for this we are creating a separate approval group (ServiceNow approval) adding only 1 & 2 such that only 1 and 2 should receive approval.

OOB change approval polices are triggering the approvals currently to change Assignment group members

We are creating almost 50 + approval groups to related assignment group.

Please help me with approach for sending the approval only to related approval groups based on the assignment group.

You need to refine the change approval policies to incorporate the assignment group to new group mapping, or look at the flow/workflow running on each change type and alter that to not use the approval policies if that's easier.

What I understood is You want to Give approvals only to certain members, But  How will you decide which two approvers to choose ?, Are you picking on random 2 group members? or they are specific users?

In Change Management we are having Change model, and For every state a separate  flow is designed which triggers the change approval policy, So if for you require random 2 approvers, In change approval definition , You can choose percentage of users, but this is also going to vary as group doesn't have fixed members
