change password not working

HI, My instance was not getting logged in so I did reset password using "reset admin password" so I used click here link and could login but when I tried to change the password using

After logging in, you can change the password if you'd like.

  1. 1. Use the Application Navigator to open Self-Service > My Profile.
  2. 2. Click the Change Password Related Link.
  3. 3. Complete the Change Password form then click the Change Password button.

above doesn't work...I mean I get message password successfully updated...But am not able to login using new password....

pls suggest

Did you mean that now you are no longer able to log in to the instance? If yes, I can help you if this is a personal dev instance. Let me know.


Yes Pradeep you are right it is personel instance.


So generated password given on screen while using reset admin psw option from action button does not work, when I try to change password and enter old password that is shown on screen.
