change report sorted by date

I need to sort a change report by date only - not date and time.

My users want a rpeort that is grouped by day.

Is there an easy way to do this?

Unfortunately you can't group on a date/time field, but sorting by date/time will sort it by day as well.

You could try a calendar report, which will group the changes by days on the calendar. Another option would be to add a date field that is populated by the date/time field.

Ihave tried to create a Date field by tattempting to extract the current start date/time   - where am I going wrong?

Resolved by creating new date field and new time field.
