On the requested item table, I'm looking at a certain catalog item that has stages already set in place in the process. My requirement is to change 3 stage names in the system and in reports that have conditions set to the old stage names. I'm investigating this possibility, but have a few concerns as well, such as:
-Potentially breaking the reporting conditions that are set up because of how it is filtered to be looking for the stage name in the system right now
-If I start to change the Stage names, it wouldn’t change the old records and reporting data would become inconsistent. You would have old records that say the previous stage name. It wouldn’t update old records that aren’t on that stage currently
-There could also be different coding in place that involves the label of the current stage name, and I could be interfering with those scripts
Does anyone have suggestions on how this could be done? Thank you!
