I am planning to take CIS-DATA FOUNDATION EXAM.Can anyone tell me the below:

1.Do we need any voucher code for this or can we directly register for this exam.I read the courses are recommended but not mandatory so not sure how to get a voucher code for the same?

2.Any brain dumps,practice tests,any advice,websites I can check for this exam?

This vendor transfer completed on 17th Nov 2025 and as per new rule everyone needs to complete cis DF before 31dec 2026 else 6 CiS will be considered as expired. If you are planning for CiS anyone of below

Overview

The CIS – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) certification establishes the essential knowledge of CMDB and CSDM required across multiple ServiceNow ITx and SecOps implementations. These certifications rely heavily on accurate data modeling, relationship management, and alignment with the CSDM framework. 

Requiring the Data Foundations certification helps ensure candidates have the necessary baseline skills before progressing to the following certifications:

Hi again @shevangi 

You don't need a link to Pearson VUE. As @GlideFather said, there are no vouchers any more. You just go to the relevant link within SN UNI (see my previous reply). From there you book the exam directly. Once you've paid for and booked the exam, Pearson VUE run the exam delivery process.

In other words, it's not like the previous system where you had to go to the Webassessors site to book an exam. It's all done through the SN Uni site now.

What you read is correct - their are multiple pre-requisite courses which are not compulsory, but they are HIGHLY recommended. 

Here's what is says on the page where you book the exam:

(I've added the bold italics myself)

• Review the Implementer Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) Credential Path for the list of recommended courses. Course completion is not required but highly recommended.
  • We strongly recommend completing the training before beginning the exam registration and scheduling processes. These courses are designed to align with the exam blueprint and significantly improve exam readiness.
• Review the CIS-DF (CMDB and CSDM) Exam Blueprint for exam objectives and other important details.
• Gain real-world experience, create, test, and learn on your own ServiceNow environment. 

This new CIS-DF course is one of the first where ServiceNow has fundamentally changed how it assesses candidates. It's no longer good enough just to download some dumps, memorize them, and expect to pass.

Unless you're already very confident with every related to CMDB/CSDM, I strongly suggest you study, study, practice, practice, and study before booking the exam.
