Clearing date fields using list edit or update all

Does anybody knows how to clear date fields using the List Edit or Update All/Selected method?

It is possible to clear text fields but not date fields.

The Wiki article (Editing Lists - ServiceNow Wiki) does not mention anything about and I was wondering if there's any way OOTB or by scripting that can help with this.

This is a custom field I'm trying to clear. In your example, what happens after you clear it on the calendar popup and click on the ok button? Does an empty value gets saved into the date field?


Here it is:


It simply sets it to blank.

I am able to do it demo instance. Check the screen shot attached.Just click green tick on calender pop up and then you end with the second screenshot,Just clear the value there and save,it works for me.
