closing a browser automatically logs you out

We are experiencing a problem when a user who is already logged in closes their browser and tries to go back into ServiceNow they are logged out.
This happens as soon as you close the browser. We don't have the "Remember me" checkbox available at login and we have our session timeout set to 120 minutes.
Would anyone know why this is happening.
FYI this only started happened when we upgraded to Helsinki Patch 9.

Hi Roehl,
We're not using the "Remember me" checkbox at login. Instead we are using a session timeout for users to re authenticate after they don't interact with ServiceNow for 120 minutes. Before we upgraded to Helsinki Patch 9 from Patch 4 our users were able to close out their browser and wouldn't get prompt to log back in if they were within the 120 minute timeout session. After the upgrade they being asking to login as soon as they close out their browser.
