Hello,
We're running Vancouver and have installed Cloud Operations Workspace. When I navigate to it it does not show me cloud relate info but shows me Requests from the Request Management application and Demands from the Demand Management Application. We have Cloud Discovery setup and working for Azure and I can see our cloud resources from the Discovery Cloud Resources Dashboard. My understanding is that this is being deprecated in the future and we must now use the Cloud Operations Workspace. I have no idea how to fix this issue. Any help is appreciated.

Hi @rayq007 ,
Cloud Operations Workspace requires the following plugin. Ensure that the following plugin is activated before you install Cloud Operations Workspace.
- Required ServiceNow plugins
-
- Discovery (com.snc.discovery)
- ServiceNow Cloud Discovery finds applications and devices on your network, and then updates the CMDB 360 with the information it finds. For more information on activating Discovery
Them you can see your Dashboard something like this :

I have requested activation of the Discovery plugin on the Instance dashboard on the support portal. I get the emails noting the scheduling and an email stating Discovery plugin is activated. I don't see com.snc.discovery in the list of plugins on my instance. I do have a cloud discovery schedule running and it's finding a large number of cloud resources and populating my CMDB. For some reason the Cloud Operations Workspace is behaving as I've described in my initial message. In the plugin list the closest items I see to Discovery is ITOM Discovery License (com.snc.itom.discovery.license) and Performance Analytics - Content Pack - Discovery (com.snc.pa.discovery). I don't know if these have superceded com.snc.discovery as I can't find any docs indicating this.

Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1. **Check User Roles**: Ensure that the user has the correct roles assigned. For Cloud Operations Workspace, the user should have the sn_cdm.cloud_operator role.
2. **Check Configuration**: Verify that the Cloud Operations Workspace is correctly configured to display the desired information. You can do this by navigating to Cloud Operations Workspace > Configuration.
3. **Check Cloud Discovery Status**: Ensure that Cloud Discovery is running successfully and that the data is being populated in the CMDB. You can check the status of Cloud Discovery by navigating to Discovery > Status.
4. **Check CMDB Configuration**: Verify that the CMDB is correctly configured to store and display cloud resources. You can do this by navigating to CMDB > Configuration.
5. **Check Cloud Operations Workspace Version**: Ensure that you are running a compatible version of Cloud Operations Workspace with your current ServiceNow instance.
6. **Check for Errors**: Check the system logs for any errors related to Cloud Operations Workspace. You can do this by navigating to System Logs > All.
7. **Contact ServiceNow Support**: If you are still unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to ServiceNow Support for further assistance.
Remember, the Cloud Operations Workspace is designed to provide a consolidated view of your cloud resources, so it should display the information from your Azure Cloud Discovery if everything is set up correctly.

Hi,
Thank you for the reply. I'm checking the items you listed and here are my results:
1. Check user roles:
I cannot find the sn_cdm.cloud_operator role. This document https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/vancouver-it-operations-management/page/product/cloud-operations-... says in order to access the Cloud Operations Workspace dashboard I need the sn_cloud_ops_ws.cloud_ops_admin role which I do have.
2. Check Configuration. I cannot get to the configuration page for Cloud Operations Workspace. When I navigate there these are the only choices I'm presented with:
All choices I click simply show me items in my Change Management and Demand Management applications. Nothing cloud related.
3,4. Check Cloud Discovery status and CMDB configuration:
Cloud discover is running successfully. I can navigate to the Discovery Cloud Resources Dashboard and see my discovered cloud resources. I can see the logs from discoveries run via the schedule and they are completing successfully. The CMDB is being populated with cloud items and I can browse cloud CIs when I create a new change request.
5. Check Cloud Operations Workspace Version:
I'm running version 1.5.0
6. Check for errors in system logs:
I searched the logs and couldn't find anything related to Cloud Operations Workspace.
