Hi Everyone,
Our goal is to update "SLA Event Management" record when CI changes status.
We are trying to achieve this by using CMDB Data Manager, because as I understand correctly this feature was created for mass CI action. So we created Data Policy with the next conditions:
General:-
For testing, we tested it with Policy Type as Archive or Retire or Delete
Task Assignment Group:- Managed By Group
Condition Filter:-
Class is a Configuration Item [AND]
Name(Server) is Demo1
After running the filter we have 1 records match condition status
Action:---
We have attached custom subflow to update Event Management SLA and also we tried to attach the Out Of The Box Subflow Provided by ServiceNow.
After this we are saving the policy and previewing it and in the preview policy tab the status is :-
Configuration items may be impacted by this policy = 1
Tasks may be generated by this policy = 1
and in the next step we are publishing it.
After performing all the above actions , when we are moving back to the home page of the CMDB Data Manager ,
It is showing me 0 Policy Open Tasks.
Kindly check this issue and please help us in resolving this issue.

Hi @Shubham88 you've probably already got it figured out but just in case ... looking at the screenshots it looks like you didn't do a Preview and Publish. Also want to mention that there's scheduled jobs for CMDB Data Manager policies that run daily that will update the CI records that changes the Install Status and Operational Status. If you activate Life Cycle Mapping, it will also update the Life Cycle Stage and Life Cycle Stage Status as well.
