Colors on PA Widgets

With reporting, it is easy to define a chart so that it follows the chart colors as you have defined.  What I would like to do it the same thing with PA.  I would like to be able to define a widget so that the colors followed the values defined by the project status field.  Does anyone know how to do that in PA?

I think I was unclear with the issue.  Yes, I can color code it.  But...it doesn't follow the value of the status field.  I have to say display "GYR", which is a color scheme I defined.  If the proportions of the colors changes, I have to change the color scheme to match the order of the new proportions.  What would be great is if I could have it use the color that is the value in the field.

do you have status as a breakdown? if yes is it set in breakdown field in widget just like i have age here.

Yes, the status is a breakdown on the widget.  That is how I get the stacked columns.

For some of the widgets, you can manually specify the color.  I'm not aware of how you do this for a breakdown.
