Column Search Row (magnifying glass on lists)

I have a requirement that anytime a list is open in ServiceNow the column search row is displayed. Can someone help me figure out what setting can make this happen. Thank you.

I'm not aware of one. searching the sys_properties table hasn't revealed anything that stands out. you may try. Seems your users don't want the click the magnifying glass icon. fatigue I guess.
