Comments on Visual Task Boards do not appear in Comments Catalog Tasks

We are currently in Geneva and I am using VTBs to manage issues assigned to me but I noticed that when I add a comment a card, the comment does not appear in the Comments tab as I would expect. Is there a setting that needs to be turned on or is this a bug?

the VTB card in the top screenshot looks like the short description has been changed, not comments added ?
are these changes being pulled through on the task activity feed?

Yes. I changed the short name.
But to answer your question, comments written on the Comments tab do not appear in the activity feed or the VTB comments windows.

I am noticing this same issue.
If a task is created on an Incident - Comments made on Visual Task Board are visible on Task Board (Incident_task table)
If a task is created on a catalog request - Comments made on Visual Task Board are visible on Task Board (sc_task table)
If a task is created on the Visual Task Board - Comments don't show - Even though it will say "Updated 1m ago"...it's knows it was just updated, but comments don't show. (task table)
Any solutions?

I created custom table which is extended from Task table,
initially there were no issues but latter comments is not showing up in activity feed in VTB or Card, but it is visible in form.
Did anyone found the work around for this issue?
