Configure a Dashboard Breakdown to Filter on Parent and Child Group Elements like Cascading Filter

Hi Team,

I would greatly appreciate any help/advice/guidance on whether this is at all possible and if so, the steps to configure this in my PDI and Client's instance.

At the top of our Dashboard which has both PA and Report Widgets, I would like to configure a Breakdown Filter on Elements, so that one can select the Parent Group and then drop down to the Child Assignment Groups, that are a subset of that Parent Group.

This would allow my client, to filter the Dashboard widgets for either the Parent Group or the Child Assignment Groups that are mapped to each Parent Group.

The approach is similar to a Cascading Interactive Filter Widget placed on the face of a Dashboard, but configured as a Breakdown Filter at the top of the Dashboard, where you can drop down the hierarchy, so that it functions similar to a Cascading Filter and works on both PA and Report Widgets on the Dashboard (since Cascading Filter does not work on PA Widgets currently).

Is this at all possible and anyone would know the steps how to configure this?
