Configure dashboards Widgets to open lists in Workspace instead of list view

Hello,

 

I have a requirement to modify workspace widgets to open lists in the workspace instead of list view.  For example in the "Major Incident Overview" Dashboard, when clicking on the number in the "Open Major Incidents" Widget, OOB that open the list in the list view.

My questions are:

  1. Is it possible to change the Widget so that it open the list in a workspace instead? I do not see Workspace as one of the options for widget.
  2. Is that even possible by some customization?
