Configure MFA using email and not Google authenticator

Hi all,
I need to configura MFA on my instance but not all user has a mobile phone to install Google Authenticator.
Is there a way to use email , asking a "one time" code ?

There used to be an out of the box option, which was removed as far as I know. I had a similar requirement and was working on a custom solution which in the end was discarded, becaue it would require too much customization.

From the Utah release onwards, you can use email OTP for MFA without requiring the Authenticator app set up.
You can follow this documentation.
I have added this community article for enabling SMS OTP-based MFA without requiring the Authenticator app. You can follow similar steps for Email OTP-based MFA.
