Configure notification automatic and manually

Hello Expertise, Can anyone help me with how to implement an automatic reminders to be sent for pending items, tasks before its due date ? 

and to give user ability to send reminders manually from the system?

For sure this can be done.
Before implementing this type of solution, you should design the process who can triggered the notification. How and when auto notification should trigger and on what type of notification it should trigger like pending approval, pending task etc.

Thank you for your respond, and how can i do that if this is the requirement for all Audit management notification?

For pending items, tasks…etc. I want automatic reminders to be sent for the users who’s assigned to in the tasks, items…etc.

Reminder to be sent 1 day before due date and on due date

and can i do it by Event Registry and notification ?
