I wanted to integrate ServiceNow with Copilot; however, we do not have now assist license. Can I still be able to create this integration? it would be helpful if you can give me a path without Nowassit, how can I make this integration. Can you confirm do we need any license from microsoft if we do not have now assit. I would request to arrange a call and help me understand this process. It is really important for us to have this integration in instance.

Hi @Shilpa451
Now Assist is required for SN and Copilot integration. Without that, you cannot proceed.
The default Conversational Integration with Microsoft Teams plugin (sn_va_teams) automatically integrates with Copilot. For the integration to work automatically, verify that you have:
- The Xanadu version of the Conversational Integration with Microsoft Teams application installed and configured. If you have a previous version of the application, upgrade it to the Xanadu release.
- The Microsoft Copilot license.
Note:
- Before the integration, make sure that Copilot is enabled on your Microsoft Teams tenant.
- No configuration changes are required on your ServiceNow instance to integrate with Microsoft Copilot.
- The Now Assist license and verify that the Now Assist in Virtual Agent is configured. For more information, see Configuring Now Assist in Virtual Agent.

Thank you for responding!
So, without Now Assist we cannot do this integration at all or if we have copilot for service license from Microsoft side, can we do it by any chance? Basically, the idea is to have copilot and summarize the details of incident which now assist can do without now assist license.

Hi @Shilpa451
No, now Assist is a must. It acts as a bridge between ServiceNow and Copilot.
