Copy Change doesn't always copy the change

We have noticed that there are some changes that we can't copy. That is, for some changes, when Copy Change is selected nothing appears to happen; the change is not copied.  This doesn't happen for all changes. We tried comparing changes where Copy Change is successful with changes where Copy Change doesn't do anything but didn't really find anything that would explain this behavior.

 

Looking for suggestions on how to troubleshoot this... 

 

As far as I can determine, our Copy Change is OOB.

Hi,

Did you check for the logic used in the Copy Change UI action?

As far as I can determine, the Copy Change UI action is OOB.

Agreed but there has to be some logic that is used to make Copy Change work. Unsure, if it has some modifications applied to avoid it to work for specific in your instance.

Hi,

 

I have two OOB UI Actions named "Copy Change", one is from the Change Management for Service Operations Workspace application, and has not enabled on a form or list.  The other is from Global app and appears as on the form context menu.  I suggest that open the UI action and review the 'Versions' tab.
