CR is in implement state, remain in that state without reverting back to schedule when I refreshed

Hello

 

 
Within my instance, when the change request is in scheduled state and I hit the implement button, I want the change to move to implement and remain in implement state with the actual end date becoming mandatory even when I refresh and or close and reopen that CR
 
Does not currently work that way, the actual end date becomes mandatory as expected but when I reference the page, it goes back to the scheduled state. I want it to remain in the implement state without reverting back to the scheduled state. 
 
How can I configure/fix this issue with the CR to allow it to stay in the implement field when I select the implement button even if I close and open the CR later and or refresh the page.
 
HELP Please
