Create ACLs based on views

Hi,

Is it possible to create ACL based on views? I have view on list view where I want to restrict editing a field. But I do not want it to impact other views? Can someone tell how can we we achieve this?

I don't believe so. Use a UI policy instead and you can set the view that you want it to apply to.

UI Policies do not work on the list.

I do agree with @Mike_R. I do not think it is possible to wright an ACL based on a view.
