Hi,
has anyone created a flow/s to manage automated creation, update and removal of Planned outages from a Change Record? Or is there maybe alredy something OOTB that I can use?
We would like to automatically create Planned outages:
- CR type = Normal or Emergency
- State = Scheduled
- New field for Create planned outage = Yes/No
- For all affected CIs if possible
How can I achieve that?

Hi @Malin1
“If you want, you can create the outage through the flow, but the question is whether every change actually needs an outage. From my experience working as a change manager, the answer is no—not every change requires one. If the flow creates an outage for every change, it won’t give the right picture. So technically, yes, it’s possible, but process-wise, it’s not a good approach
