Hi All,
I currently have my "Incident" form configured with a reference field to the Asset table, so my analysts can view or choose an asset assigned to the current user, which allows them to identify issues with a specific asset (for example, if the asset is reassigned to an incoming user as an outgoing user leaves the company).
Some of our users have "special setups", that are not standard, and these are documented in our knowledgebase, but my analysts are not always utilizing this information. I'd like to have an icon (similar to the "VIP" icon) appear next to the "Asset" field name to indicate the user has a special setup, and for the analyst to be able to click on the icon to take them directly to the KB article.
I know about adding the icon itself through field styles, but can I make the icon a link to a KB entry? And can this link be dynamic, in the sense of executing a search based on the username? For example, if the user is "John Doe", can I make the link automatically search the KB for "John Doe Special Setup", and dynamically search for "Jane Doe Special Setup" if the user is Jane Doe?
Thanks in advance!
