creating a new table metadata

Is there an option in servicenow that when creating a new table informs to if there already a table created for the same purpose? like a metadata?

Unfortunately, there is no way to get such information unless proper technical documentation is maintained amongst team members. It is always advised to limit the table creation by few team members and they take a cautious approach.
