I would like to map and define organisation structures within ServiceNow, but cannot see any out of box function or application to do so.
The object is to define organisation, divisions, departments, business unit etc. and define parent child relationship between these entities.
Has anyone done this before? Which tables, modules , plugins did you use? Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks
Maruf

Hi Maruf,
You can do this on a couple of tables - it up to you which you prefer. Either work well in my opinion.
You can use the Departments table (User Administration> Departments) or Cost Center (User Administration> Cost Centers). Either table has a parent field which you can use to set up parent/child relationships and make your org structure. E.g IT --> Finance and so on.
