Currency field - Remove Currency type (CAD/USD)

Hello ! I've recently upgraded to Helsinki from Eureka and I've noticed, along with a few other issues, our currency fields are now showing as follows:

I would like them to display the numerical value, without having the currency type. Like this (Eureka):

We are not using single currency. How would I go about changing this back?

Could you check in fx_currency table, if the currency which is being used has CAD added to $ in the symbol column.

Yes we are using dual currency so we have the Symbols as follows:

$CAD

$USD

If we were to remove the CAD and USD from our symbols our toggle currency would display as:

$

$

Which would be confusing as we wouldn't know which currency we are selecting.
