Custom Comments and Work Notes Field - background colour

Hi guys,

I was wondering if its possible to customize only the background colour for the work notes in this list:

Field name:

I have managed to find the properties list:

Also created new style:

... however, nothing seems to work.. I just want to change the background colour of the work notes, but I guess because its a Journal List, probably it works in a different way?

do I have to write some script for that??

Its NOT for comments and work notes separately.. This is a out of the box field and it just shows the comments and work notes nicely

I have a solution to make your work note field background color  LightGoldenRodYellow 

you  now you can see in my first screenshot  work note field background is Yellow

 

for resolving above issue  you need to go right click on form >> configure >> Form Layout,

and select Activities(filtered) make left to right and save 

 Now you can see in my 3screenshot  work note background color change

Hi,

You can navigate to System UI -> Form Styles .

Click on New and do some similar stuff.

Hi If you just want to change the work notes then right click on the field and navigate to configure styles and select the record available for Worknotes and change the Style to background-color:Red; This should make the change. Thanks Sonali

This is not for normal Work Notes. the Field Name is:

Label: Comments and Work notes

Column Name: comments_and_work_notes

Type: Journal List

if you want to change the background color of activity list then property should work. click on ignore cache check box.

i have set this 2 properties
