I have created a custom menu Topic1 (Child1 and Child2)and Topic2 (Child3 and Child4). Each Topic and Child topic have content associated with them.
Also have linked the new taxonomy to the employee center.
When I preview the template, everything seem to work fine:
However, the custom topics I created is not appearing in the mega menu.
Any reason for this?

Hello, @vidhya_mouli
You’re experiencing an issue where your custom menu topics are not appearing in the ServiceNow mega menu. This could be due to a few reasons:
Taxonomy Configuration: Ensure that the taxonomy linked to the Employee Center is correctly configured and that the topics are set to be visible in the mega menu.
Portal Navigation Settings: Check the portal navigation settings to make sure that the custom topics are enabled and not accidentally set to be hidden.
Cache Issues: Sometimes, the changes may not reflect immediately due to caching. Try clearing the cache or using an incognito window to see if the topics appear.
Role-Based Access: Verify that the roles assigned to your user account have the necessary permissions to view the custom topics in the mega menu.
Update Conflicts: If there have been recent updates or changes to the ServiceNow instance, it could have affected the visibility of custom menus.
Advanced Portal Navigation: There might be multiple advanced portal navigation records with conflicting settings. Ensure that they are correctly set to reflect the taxonomy updates.
Best Regard,
Angela Huey
