Customer Service Management (CSM) Simulator (Course)

I am doing a course named Customer Service Management (CSM) Simulator (Course) , In this course they have given some requirements which are quite confusing  Below are the requirements:

As a ServiceNow CSM System Admin, you have been asked to create accounts for ABC Corp and its subsidiary ABC Corp USA as well as their partner GSI Tech. 

ABC Corp should have two contacts, Carla Kelly and Adam Johnson.  Adam should be configured as the customer admin. 

ABC Corp USA has one contact, Ursula Vernon.  GSI Tech has a partner admin named Peter Robinson. 

IMPORTANT: Each contact should have a User ID of firstname.lastname.

  1. Create an account for ABC Corp.
  2. Create an account for ABC Corp USA with ABC Corp as its parent account.
  3. Create a partner account for GSI Tech.
  4. Create contacts with User IDs under the respective accounts for Carla, Adam, Ursula and Peter.
  5. Assign the customer, customer admin, partner and partner admin roles as specified above, to the users directly.
  6. Make Adam, Ursula and Peter the primary contacts on their respective accounts.

    I am not getting the point that they are asking to create contact or USer bcz we cant assign roles to contacts and also I could not find Partner Admin role , this is confusing , Can someone explain  me step wise

Change the "contact" form view to "Default", you will have the options for roles.

And the role is called:
sn_customerservice.partner_admin

I have added the roles to respective users but I am still getting error :
Not all contacts have been allocated the correct customer/partner roles.

Also the roles sn_customerservice_customer or customer_admin doesnt shows up when shifted to default view and clicked on Roles related list. Why ?

Hi @spimple ,

 

1. Create a new Account.

2. Create a child account

3. Create a partner account

4. Create users (if not already created) and assign them to respective accounts. ABC Corp should have two contacts, Carla Kelly and Adam Johnson. ABC Corp USA has one contact, Ursula Vernon

5. Assign below roles according to: 

ABC Corp should have two contacts, Carla Kelly and Adam Johnson.  Adam should be configured as the customer admin. 

ABC Corp USA has one contact, Ursula Vernon.  GSI Tech has a partner admin named Peter Robinson.

6. Make Adam, Ursula and Peter the primary contacts on their respective accounts.
