Dashboard not visible

Hi All,

I am facing one issue with the ServiceNow Dashboard.

I have created one dashboard with 4 reports in it and restricted the dashboard to pa_contributer, pa_viewer, sn_si.analyst roles from the dashboard properties for that particular dashboard. When I try to test the dashboard with a test user in DEV instance it works fine but in TEST instance when I test with the same test user (having the same roles) it gives me the below message. What could be the issue?

Hi @Maloy Banerjee1 ,

Even though you have stated " I test with the same test user (having the same roles)", then please verify the roles is assigned to the user that you're testing with. This is for sure a role issue.

Hi Anders,

Yes, I have added the roles to the Test user account but not able to understand what is causing the issue. Could there be any ACL problem in the pa_dashboard table?

Hi @Maloy Banerjee1 ,

And you have verified that the dashboard has been shared with that specific role in the test instance? No, it shouldn't be an ACL role (yet at least), is the screenshot clearly states that the dashboard is restricted to specific groups.

Hi Andreas,

The issue happened because the Dashboard was created in the Security Incident Response Application scope. Once I changed it to Global application it was working fine.

Not sure about this strange logic.
