datacenter locations

Anyone know how your instance's datacenter location is picked?   Seems strange my instances are in Canada when one of our major offices isn't too far from DC, where Servicenow had a datacenter.

Usually your ServiceNow representative would have some insight into this - best speak to them and see what they agreement was.

Note that close proximity isn't necessarily a good choice - for safety reasons, many organisations opt to have their cloud storage far away from their place of work so that a natural disaster doesn't take out the offices and their cloud systems located nearby.
