Hey guys,
I found a strange issue in my Service Portal. When accessing a catalog item from the SP, I set a date/time field with a random date and time. When I submit it, the date is kept the same, but the time is always set as 12:00:00 AM.
Example:

Date as appeared in the variables section of my RITM:
When I create a request from the normal UI, this doesn't happen. In that case, the date and time are the same I set in the form. I tried to google this issue, but I didn't find anything like it. The instance is in Helsinski, patch 3.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Gary, SN support end up finding that someone had previosuly modified the Date/Time dictionary type, and by reverting the change, the issue was fixed. This is what solved our issue.

I tried reproducing it in my personal dev (Helsinki patch 1) and our our sandbox (Helsinki patch 4) but i could'nt.
You should probably log a ticket in HI regarding this.

Hello Lars,
Thanks for the response. As an update, we found out that by modifying the time format in "System Properties -> Basic configuration -> Time Format", the date gets impacted ok in the RITM. Does anyone know if there's a property in the Service Portal that can change the date type?

Hi Guillermo did you get any fix for this issue, we are having the same problem, when we select a date on the Service portal and add to cart, the date seems to be updated to a format that is not the same as it reads in the OOB version
Below is the screenshot of the data stored for the date and Date Time fields when added to cart thru Service Portal, which seems to have been causing the issue to default the value to the current date after it was submitted
The value marked in yellow are the date's when added to cart thru Portal and the other is default cart.

Hi Guilllermo,
What's the date format set for the user?
My system date format was set to dd/MM/YYYY, my profile was set to --none-- and the date picker formatted the date to the default US format (yyyy/MM/dd).
I've raised a HI ticket to investigate.
