Date/Time Field Issue in Service Portal

Hey guys,

I found a strange issue in my Service Portal. When accessing a catalog item from the SP, I set a date/time field with a random date and time. When I submit it, the date is kept the same, but the time is always set as 12:00:00 AM.

Example:

When I create a request from the normal UI, this doesn't happen. In that case, the date and time are the same I set in the form. I tried to google this issue, but I didn't find anything like it. The instance is in Helsinski, patch 3.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi Gary, SN support end up finding that someone had previosuly modified the Date/Time dictionary type, and by reverting the change, the issue was fixed. This is what solved our issue.

Guys, just as an update, the solution SN gave us was to change the date format... We stopped using AM/PM and switched to 24h.

I found that if I try to modify the time from the field, even if I use 24h format, it came back as 00:00:00.   What I have to do to get it to stay is use the calendar icon and click the clock symbol at the bottom to get the time to stick.

It was fixed in Helsinki Patch 8.
