Hi Everyone,
We came across a question with respect to utilizing IRE with Vulnerability Response. Basically, as per my understanding, if the IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine) is active and CMDB CI Class model plugin is installed then Vulnerability Response module utilizes IRE (Identification and Reconciliation Engine) for creating the unmatched CI under Unclassed Hardware and Incomplete IP classes within CMDB along with creating an unmatched entry in discovered items table.
On the other side, if the IRE is not activated for the platform and the CMDB CI Class model plugin is not installed then Vulnerability Response module creates the CI under unmatched CI class. Now my query is lets suppose that the IRE is active for the instance and CMDB CI Class model plugin is also installed but still we do not want to use IRE for creation of unmatched CIs within Vulnerability Response module under unclassed hardware or incomplete IP classes. Is there any way to disable IRE for Vulnerability Response module?
Regards
