Hi All,
I am trying to set a default sort order for a table, which has to override last sorted column by any user. Ideally service now remembers the last sorted column by users and display the list as per his last setting when he logins back.
I want the sort to override user preference always once the user clicks on other module and returns to the same module, the sort order should be what I set as default.
Controlling the sort sequence used to display lists
I have used the above link to achieve sorting by going into the module and updating my requirement in the argument section.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Regards,
Narmi

Hi Prateek,
This is kind of weird for me, It also works when I impersonate with different user in the instance, but when it comes to CMS where I have this table dragged I don't see the sorting getting changes or set to default sort.
sergiu.panaite Thanks for your input,
Below is the screenshot from the instance as well as CMS screenshot both seems different, this is for the same user in two places.
Here you can see summary id is sorted in ascending
Here in the CMS screenshot you can see 'Service level metric name' sorted
Even thought I tried this will couple of users and CMS doesn't get sorted as per my condition.
