difference between developer instance and other non production instance

Can u please help me to technically difference between in both

Technically they are both the same. However, 1) developers instance only gives you 10 days of inactivity before it's reclaimed. 2) you can't download items from store and load on dev instance. 3) you can't get HI support.



Non-prod instance doesn't have these limitations.

I would add to what Michael said, that developers instances are normally configured with less resources then sub-production instances, depending on the contract that was done between the customer and ServiceNow.



But you should be able to develop and test in a developers instance the same way as a sub production instance.
