Discovery - network switches returning IP address instead of DNS name

How do I got about modifying the OOTB 'Network switches' Discovery pattern so that instead of it pulling back IP Addresses for the Name we instead get the DNS Name?

Is there a good resource to review in regard to Discovery patterns?
