hi,
we recently upgraded to San-Diego, which only works with chrome 80 and above.
our problem is that when opening ServiceNow on chrome 70 or below, there is no error message so users don't know they need to upgrade their chrome.
we want to display a pop-up message but are a little lost. can you help?

Is the audience you wish to notify here using the main platform UI, a Service Portal or Employee Service Center?
For Portals and Service Center you can use Announcements. This displays a banner to the user, which they can close down or you can make persistent. For ESC you can do similar or utilise the content widget with maybe a campaign or an immediately scheduled post notifying.
For the main platform UI this support link references some neat custom options that are used fairly regularly.
It's also worth noting Chrome is currently in the 100's for it's current release cycle. We generally support current -2 in terms of Chrome. The 80's branch is 2 years old and the 70's branch is 3 years old.
