Do we need to migrate dashboards before upgrading the ServiceNow version?
Also, when upgrading from Zurich to Australia, are the dashboards automatically updated?

starting from Australia release
Legacy ("old") reports and dashboards are deprecated, transitioning to Platform Analytics. While existing legacy reports remain accessible and read-only, you cannot create new ones. Users are encouraged to use the Platform Analytics Migration Center to migrate legacy reports

2.When upgrading from Zurich to Australia, the dashboards automatically updated?

Dashboards do not automatically fully migrate to the new format when upgrading from Zurich to Australia, but they remain functional. While existing dashboards stay editable in the Core UI, you must use the Platform Analytics Workspace to create new ones. Existing content remains available

-> not compulsory to migrate dashboards before upgrading

-> upgrading from Zurich to Australia doesn't automatically update or migrate dashboards, it's a manual activity
