Does not copy the field on background script

I'm trying to copy field Project to field service

(The second fields are reference)
When I run I see that the field changes but I don't see the value

the field

the script:

In that case it won't work.

I know it doesn't work, the question is if you have a solution

if both the fields don't refer to same table your script won't work
