Dot-Walking in form design

Hi, I understand dot-walking in form layout but I'm not sure it's available in the form designer, is it one of the functionalities that form layout has that is missing in form design?

It goes like this

Form Layout - Yes

Form Design - No

Form Builder - Yes

Not sure if its the latest version of ServiceNow or the latest version of UI Builder that gives you Form Builder
