Duplicate Tickets in the Workspace Lists if you sort by State

We received a strange ticket were a user couldn't find his tickets in the Incident list of his workspace.
I assumed that the error might be that she had the list open in another tab and therefore it didn't refresh, or some other minor user error.
But after some time looking into it, I noticed that one of the tickets was twice in the list. Given that the number of tickets remained the same, these duplicate tickets displaced some other ones.
The error only happens, when you sort by state AND if you have more than one page. It can happen to different ticket. You can always filter for them (if you know which ones are missing).
